  Positive Self-Expectancy
The most readily identifiable quality of a total winner is an overall attitude of person al optimism and enthusiasm.  Winners understand the psychosomatic relationship-psyche and soma; mind and body - that the body expresses what the mind is concerned with.
Positive Self-Image
Winners are especially aware of the tremendous importance of their self-image - and of the role their imagination can play in the creating and upgrading  of the self-image.  They know the self-image acts as  a subconscious life-governing device-that if in your self-image you can't possibly see yourself doing something, achieving something, you literally cannot do it!
Positive Self-Control
The positive self-control of a total winner is acceptance of one hundred percent responsibility for causing the effects in his or her life.  Winners realize they personally have the power to take control of many more aspects of their lives, both mental and physical, than were heretofore thought possible.
Positive Self - Esteem
Winners have a deep-down feeling of their own worth.  They know that, contrary to popular  belief, this feeling of self-acceptance and deserving is not necessarily a legacy from wise and loving parents - history is full of saints who rose from the utters and literal monster who grew up in loving families.  Winner are not outer-directed.
Positive Self-Awareness
Winners know who they are, what they belie, the role in life they are presently filling, their great personal potential-and the future roles and goals which will mark fulfillment of that potential.  They have learned these things and are constantly adding to their knowledge, through experience, insight, feedback, and judgment.
Positive Self-Motivation
Thee positive self-motivation of total winners derives from two sources: 1) their self expectant personal and world view, and 2) their awareness that, while fear and desire are among the greatest motivators, fear is destructive while desire leads to achievement, success and happiness.
Positive Self-Direction
Winners in life have clearly-defined, constantly referred to, game plans and purposes.  They know where they're going everyday, every month, every year.  Their objectives range all the way from lifetime goals to daily priorities.  And when they're not actively pursuing their goals, they're thinking about them - hard!  they know the difference between goal-achieving acts and those which are merely tension-relieving.. and they concentrate on the former.
Positive Self-Discipline
Positive self-discipline is the ability to practice within.  Winners are master of the arts of stimulation.  Like astronauts, championship athletes, great stage performers, skilled surgeons and truly professional executives and salesmen, they practice flawless technique in the minds over and over, again and again.
Positive Self-Dimension
Winners see their total person in such a full-formed perspective that they literally become part of the "big picture" of life - and it of them.  They have learned to know themselves intimately.  They have learned to see themselves through the eyes of others.  They have learned to feel tat one with nature and the universe.  And they have learned to be aware of time-their opportunity to learn from the past, play for the future, and live as fully as possibly in the present.
Positive Self-Projection
Winners practice positive self-projection.  They project their best selves every day in the way they look, walk, talk, listen, and react.  They specialize in truly effective communication, taking one hundred percent of the responsibility not only for communication information to, but also for receiving information from, every person they contact.

Ingredients:

Cookies
1/2 (18-oz.) pkg. Pillsbury® Refrigerated Sugar Cookies
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Frosting
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup butter, softened
4 to 6 teaspoons lemon juice
  Green food color
30 small candy canes

Preparation Directions:

1. Break up cookie dough into large bowl. Add flour; mix with hands until well blended. Shape dough into 10-inch log; wrap in plastic wrap. Freeze 30 minutes.
2. Heat oven to 350°F. Remove dough from freezer. Flatten dough down center with handle of wooden spoon. To form boot shape, with fingers, flatten one side of log until about 3/4 inch thick. (See photo.) Cut log into 3/8-inch-thick slices; place on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten slightly with fingers.
3. Bake at 350°F. for 8 to 11 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheets. Cool 15 minutes or until completely cooled.
4. In small bowl, combine powdered sugar, butter and enough lemon juice for desired spreading consistency; blend until smooth. Reserve 1/3 of frosting in another small bowl; add green food color and blend well. Place green frosting in resealable food storage plastic bag; cut off small corner of bag.
5. Frost cookies with white frosting. Place small amount of white frosting along bottom edge of each cookie; attach candy canes to form "skate blades," breaking off portion of tip of curved end, if necessary. With green frosting, pipe laces and bows on skates.
