THE LEADERSHIP TIMES is published four times each year. It contains news about TACSC sponsored activities, articles which provide instruction and motivation for the student council officer and advisor, inspirational readings, and ideas for student council activities.
TACSC member schools receive a copy of "Student Government and the Elementary School," written by Marilyn Thickett and DiAnn Sanchez, with their initial membership. This manual provides: guidelines for initiating a student government program within a school; suggestions as to who should be the advisor to the student council and the role of that person; an outline of the student council constitution; recommendations for student council organization and management; ideas for student activities.
TACSC makes available to our member schools 41 pamphlets which we call TITLES. Each covers a different subject related to student council and is set upon request for only a minimal charge. Non-member schools may also purchase these pamphlets, but the charge for each is doubled.

TACSC also has its own video for sale. This half hour video, entitled "Guidelines for Running a Student Council Meeting," shows elementary and junior high school students preparing and participating effectively in a real student council meeting. View more info here.
